‘Virtual’ or ‘Live Online’ facilitation has been around since the early years of the 21st century, with pioneers working on the now ‘classic’ platforms such as WebEx, GoTo and Adobe Connect. The Corona crisis has accelerated the spread of online training and meeting at the speed of light, and every professional teacher, trainer, facilitator and consultant now has to be proficient as a virtual facilitator.
Nomadic IBP pioneered the ‘Train the Online Trainer’ programme in 2010 and has supported 100’s of professionals to make the transition from F2F to live online. Now, Nomadic IBP is first to offer a comprehensive curriculum of professional development for online facilitators. The curriculum consists of 6 different types of services, as shown in this graph:
